Soooooo, how are you all? And I just wanted to remind you all that now less than 2 days are left and you all will make me delighted on my birthday and you know how it goes……………….

So I discovered a new fact related to Ilvermorny (I have a post on that on 12th).

Alison Sudol is a singer-songwriter as well as an actress, and the school song was a combination of her own songwriting talents combined with J.K Rowling’s original lyrics. The song didn’t make the film’s final cut, but the deleted scene was revealed earlier this year at A Celebration of Harry Potter in Orlando.

The reason why it was sung was to celebrate the North American magical school. Its lyrics recall the history of the founding of the school and the dangers of Muggle persecution at that time.
